FAQs

What materials can you print with?

The two main materials we print with are PLA, PETG, and ABS. Most of the time these meet the need of the part or model being printed.

Our printers are capable of printing in other materials such as ASA, HIPS, and TPU but we do not generally have these in stock for printing.

How big of a model can you print?

The largest volume printer we have on hand is 220mm wide x 220mm deep x 250mm tall (~8.6in x 8.6in x 9.8in) Larger models would need to be sliced into parts in order to be printed and would require further assembly.

What is the cost of print?

The print costs are vary by job. The most expensive part is the time spent preparing the job for printing. The cost is 30$ per hour for fixing/slicing the models and preparing the printers. The filament costs vary based on the filament being used and the machine that is needed to print the job.

What is the cost for model design?

The design costs vary based on estimated amount of time necessary to design a part with the given specs. Feel free to contact us with your design/idea and we will be able to give you a quote. The hourly rate for design is 60$ per hour.

What type of models can you make?

We can design mechanical models or simple promotional items (coasters, tags, etc.). Organic models (Game figurine for D&D for example) are outside of our scope for design. However, there are many sites that can help you design an organic model.
